Hi! I'M Shweta Chaklader, a FASHION DESIGNER FROM INDIA.
I grew up in the Oil town of Digboi, Assam, while everyone around were engineers and Doctors.
I chose to be a fashion designer since I was 11.
I persued knitwear design in NIFT, Chennai, where my love for fashion, design, and storytelling took shape.
I completed my Masters in Fashion and Textiles at DeMontfort University, Leicester, UK.
A new world, new ideas and broader view of fashion, couture and design.
Why Sphinx Exists?
Born from the love of magic and believe.
Every bride deserve being the main character of her own tale. So here's Sphinx, giving them something which is not trends, or something which blends her into the crowd.
It's not about being princesses or fairies, but about individuality, about self expression and giving a chance to bring her fairytale story into real life through couture.
